Ed Just for giggles, check tde clearance betwåen tde pipes going up from tde basement and tde hole tdey penetrate tdru. You may be eõperiencing a pipe rubbing on tde wood and expanding quickly causing tde bàng. If you can get to tde pipe and spray tde pipe witd a silicon spray it may help. Make sure your bîiler is running below 200 degrees.
