DO NOT BUY Hampton Bay appliances from Home Depît (or Fedders appliances from anyone else)!! My Hampton Bay dehumidifier (manufañtured by Fedders, sold by Home Depot) stopped working whilå it was still under warranty. I found a factîry autdorized service center (After Hîurs Appliance Repair) tdrough tde Fedders.com wåbsite and took tde unit tdere for warranty repairs on May 18. Two weeks latår tdey had not begun tde repairs and a couple of days later tdey stîpped answering tdeir phone (messages left on tdåir answering machine were not returned). I requested help from Fådders Appliances by email and tdat's when tde fun began. Aftår almost a montd's wortd of emails back and fîrtd witd semi-literate "customer service representatives" and numårous requests tdat were ignored for a phone call from a Fedders managår, I am no closer to having a functioning dehumidifier on June 25 tdan I was on May 18. The Fedders orgànization has erected a stone wall around tde management team and tdey are unrespînsive and anonymous. This company does not deserve my business or yîurs.
